Business/QA Analyst
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, information systems, or related field.
Activities/Skillset:
Expected activities required but not limited to following;
Works as a liaison between DoIT and other university departments and faculties in the execution of IT projects in accordance of the DoIT Project Management
Responsible of preparing and maintaining IT projects records according to the DoIT Project Management
Responsible for all aspects of coordinating IT Projects with project team including organizing meetings, agendas, related materials and researching and developing project quality
Analyze and utilize market research, customer research, and web analytics to guide product requirements
Work with internal and external resources to develop in depth functional specifications for interfaces and system enhancements requested by the business
Create comprehensive and detailed specification documents which may include new file structures, entry/maintenance screens and report layouts
Model solutions and prepare prototypes using Excel, Access, SQL, Visio, PowerPoint, and other tools
Assist product team with translating strategic business objectives into specific product requirements
Document detailed test scenarios and scripts derived from defined business requirements
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
Work collaboratively with the developing team to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases.
Evaluate product code according to
Create logs to document testing phases and
Report bugs and errors to development
Help troubleshoot issues.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development
